What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact forms
Names and email addresses that are submitted either via the mailing list form on our website, or collected on sign-on sheets at our events, are retained in our MailChimp account. This information is used to email invitations to our events, and notifications of new podcasts or blog posts to our subscribers. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of one of these emails.
Other information submitted via the contact form on the Contact Us page is retained for one year for customer service purposes only.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, podcasts, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
Google Analytics is installed on this site, however we only use aggregated data reports and no individual user data is collected.

Data about members of our mailing list is retained by MailChimp, including email addresses, first and last names, emails opened, links clicked, and the approximate location of users. Who we share your data with
Your personal data is not shared with anyone and is only visible to website administrators, who are members of Christian Science Society, Wynnum.
How long we retain your data
Names and email addresses that are submitted either via the mailing list form or on a sign-on sheet at one of our events are retained indefinitely in our MailChimp account, even if you unsubscribe, since this is an automated process. If you would like us to delete your personal information from our MailChimp account please email us here.
Other contact form entries are kept for one year.
What rights you have over your data
If you are a member of our mailing list, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
